video for bowl N043

N403 --- $95.00

diameter: 8"
height: 3 1/2"
shipping weight: 3lb 2oz (when asking about shipping costs, please don't forget to give me your zip code)

finish: one application of natural stain and then 3 coats of high gloss spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

COMMENTS: The woods around the rim are ALL excellent and there's a lot of chatoyance (the purpleheart and, paela in particular and the yellowheart a little). The middle area was not turned down as far as it could have been, so that combined with the larger than usual base makes this bowl have a little more heft than most.

I ALWAYS POINT OUT ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE COMMENTED ON. THESE ARE (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) THINGS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE BOWL, BUT I WANT TO BE SURE I GIVE A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. SO ... The mahogany at the top has a minor gum inclusion on the right side that shows up as a rough spot on the outer rim. The cocobolo at the bottom has a barely perceptable edge jag underneath the rim due to different movement than the yellowheart behind it.
