base: walnut over anigre

center: Honduras mahogany (all 4 center sections) and 8 outside wedges of okoume

view 1: jagged lamination of mahogany over holly veneer over zircote over yellowheart over bubinga veneer over yellowheart. On the inside, you can see that the bubinga veneer just barely shows through and then towards the center is a light tan wood, probably maple. On both sides of the lamination is macawood and behind everything is birch

view 3: purpleheart over ambrosia maple (with an unfortunate blotch on the right side which is the only indication left of a worm track) over wenge over ?(light tan), all backed by white oak

view 4: canary over panga panga

view 5: the middle is two pieces of Honduras rosewood separated by a lamination of (top down) mahogany veneer, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, walnut veneer, ? veneer (dark brown wood). On both sides of the middle are redheart wedges then all of that is backed by red oak then redheart, and all of the foregoing is over maple veneer over machiche over aromatic red cedar.

comments: the sapele in view 7 is nicely chatoyant and both the walnut and the anigre in the base are both lightly chatoyant
