comments: the chechem in at the top is a real standout, nicely chatoyant and with with variegated grain and color patterns. The wenge in at the bottom inside has an interesting section, near the sipo in the middle, that is orange and tan instead of wenge's normal black and brown. I sometimes see this in freshly cut wenge, but not often.
Nice light bowl with graceful curves and a good selection of woods. The chechem at the top is a particularly beautiful piece.
flaws/issues: none. LATER: the aromatic red cedar in view 6 has faded noticeably since these pics were taken many years ago, as has the redheart in view 4
