view 1: pine, padauk veneer, bubinga, hard maple veneer, mahogany, BOX

BOX: bottom is ash, top is oak, outside is chechem on both sides, middle is pine over cocobolo sided by walnut over pine

flaws/issues: There is a hairline stress separation at the right of the BOX, another at the maple veneer/mahogany joint in view 1, and another at the canary/oak joint in view 2. These can be both seen and felt and are the cause of the low price on the bowl.

comments: The pine in view 1 is chatoyant, which I don't often see in pine.
