comments: Excellent woods throughout this one, but the Honduras rosewood in view 6 is particularly nice (see view 6b below) and in fact was the reason for the choice of shape for this bowl. I was going to turn a "P1" (platter) style but just couldn't stand the thought of losing that beautiful Hondurase rosewood so decided to use a "C1" style instead which kept it prominent instead of leaving most of it on the floor as shavings.

The yellowheart and the sapele in view 6 are both lightly chatoyant. The redheart in view 8 is pink sapwood with an excellent salmon color.
