comments: the purpleheart in view 1 is nicely chatoyant, being covered in ray flakes. The bocote in view 3 is a poor sample of that species. The redheart and paela throughout this bowl are nice, and the billy webb wood in view 3 is an excellent piece. The sapodilla in view 5 exhibits the "rare steak" coloration. The canary in view 6 is an unusually bright yellow. The base is a particularly light-colored piece of partridgewood.
