S4 --- $NOT AVAILABLE --- this is the orientation view --- more pics down below

diameter: 9 1/4"
height: 2 1/2"

finish: one application of natural stain then 3 coats of high gloss spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

WOODS USED: [SEE DISCUSSION ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THIS SITE IF ANY OF THIS IS UNCLEAR]

base: yellowheart

The star is purpleheart and all the other wood is curly maple

flaws/issues: The lower tip of the star was sanded off by error.

There is a tiny chip-out inside the rim in view 7 and on the bottom of the bowl a couple of the joint lines show small chip-outs and glue rather than being almost invisible lines.

comments: I don't normally do planned-out-in-advance geometric designs such as this, but this one was a special case as a gift.
