finish: one coat of natural stain then 1 coat of satin-finish spar polyurethane (with UV blocker) then 3 thin coats of dewaxed shellac topped by 2 coats of clear flat enamel to take the shine off.
COMMENTS: I particularly like the shape of this one, which is different than the normal type C5 bowl in that rather than a smooth curve from the center out over the rim, it has a flat middle and then rises sharply to become a semi-circle (in cross section) over the rim. That is, if you took a donut and sliced it parallel to the table while it was laying on the table, the top half of the donut would be the shape of the rim of this bowl. Also, lots of nice woods in this one.
