BOX: upper middle is a lamination of thick mahogany veneer and thins. Middle thins are ash, outer ones are oak and the middle two each are cherry. This lamination is sided by very dark pieces of American black walnut. The upper sections are tzalam(?) sided by bubinga. The lower middle is zircote(?) sided by narra and below that is ? sided by cocobolo.

flaws/issues: The walnut in view 3 is wormy and I knew that when I used it --- I consider this character, not a flaw, but I list it just so there will be no surprizes.

comments: I think the angles around the rim on this one worked out REALLY well due to the V-shaped cross section of the rim. Although the rim is excellent, the box is not as pleasing to me as I had hoped for, thus the price on this one is lower than it would otherwise be.
