finish: 10 thin coats of satin-finish spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

comments: a very nice, smoothly-curved bowl with a nice sweep up from the base to the rim (unlike most type C1 bowls which are flat out from the base to the bottom of the rim) and a smooth sweep from the base's concave curve to the underside's convex curve.

flaws/issues: none. LATER: there has been a slight fading of the purpleheart pieces to a less vibrant purple.
