BOX: bottom up; bloodwood, yellowheart, wenge, hard maple veneer, wenge, yellowheart, bloodwood, walnut, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, walnut

flaws/issues: There is a tiny "rise" of the BOX in view 8 that you cannot see but you can just feel it with your finger. Similarly there is a tiny rise in the joint between views 4 and 5 on the outer rim that is visible if you catch the light just right and definitely perceptible to a finger touch.

comments: The wenge in view 6 was chosen for its irregular grain and it turned out extremely well; wish I had a lot more of that. The yew in view 1 seems particularly nice to me. There are some nice omega curves inside the rim.
