C212 --- $95.00 --- this is the orientation view --- more pics down below

diameter: 8 1/2"
height: 3"

finish: 10 thin coats of satin-finish spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

WOODS USED: [SEE DISCUSSION ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THIS SITE IF ANY OF THIS IS UNCLEAR]

base: sycamore

view 1: Honduras rosewood, sapele, wenge, white oak, chechem, BOX

view 2: purpleheart

view 3: jatoba, curly maple, BOX

view 4: Honduras mahogany

view 5: iroko, tzalam, chechem, BOX

view 6: osage orange

view 7: zircote, machiche, birch, BOX

view 8: osage orange

BOX: left to right, bloodwood, bocote, osage orange

flaws/issues: The joints inside the BOX are just slightly raised. You will see it if you look really closely and you can easily feel it with your fingers, although it is very slight. It does not detract from the beauty of the bowl at all but I've lowered the price a little because of it.

comments: The Honduras rosewood in view 1 is particularly nice and the grain lined up perfectly for the way it was cut (this was not, of course, entirely accidental). The 3 woods in the box seem to me to be a particularly rich combination
