BOX: from the bottom up through the middle is mahogany, osage orange, bocote, redheart, gaboon ebony, aromatic red cedar. bocote. In the upper left is mahogany and in the upper right is paela

flaws/issues: the mahogany on the outside of the rim in view 5 was a particularly brittle piece and it developed a lengthwise tearout along the top of the rim that is quite obvious. I softened the edges and it doesn't detract too much from the bowl but I've lowered the price quite a bit because of it. Also there is a very slight separation between the purpleheart and the osage orange in view 4. You can't see it but you can feel it with your fingernail.

comments: The purpleheart in view 3 is a real standout and there are lots of other nice woods in this one.
