B313 --- $95.00

diameter: 8"
height: 2.4"
shipping weight: 2lb 1oz (when asking about shipping costs, please don't forget to give me your zip code)

finish: one coat of natural stain then 5 coats of a 1 1/2 pound cut of clear dewaxed shellac

COMMENTS: Very pleasing curves and a nice bold center with high contrast, accented by a small, sharp wedge of yew. Nice zebrawood in the lower left and right inside the rim. The unknown wood in the lower left and right rim is probably a rosewood but whatever it is, it's very pretty although a bit on the dark side. The Douglas fir in the upper left and upper right is old growth with a very high ring count. Just those fairly small sections took about 50 years to grow to that size.

I ALWAYS POINT OUT ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE COMMENTED ON. THESE ARE (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) THINGS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE BOWL, BUT I WANT TO BE SURE I GIVE A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. SO ... There is a very small chip-out on the right side of the walnut inside the top rim --- image shown below
