B276 --- $45.00

diameter: 7 1/2"
height: 2 1/2"
shipping weight: 1lb 14oz (when asking about shipping costs, please don't forget to give me your zip code)

finish: 1 coat of natural stain then 4 coats of polyurethane (with UV blocker) then 3 thin coats of dewaxed shellac topped by 2 coats of clear flat enamel to take the shine off.

COMMENTS: Six excellent omega curves inside the rim of this one, one at the inside over every view. In all of the 400+ bowls I've turned so far, I don't think I've ever before had a bowl that had omega curves in ALL of the rim sections. I like the triangle of curly maple in the middle but over all, I don't really like the way the middle turned out so for that reason plus the issues listed below, I've priced this one quite low.

I ALWAYS POINT OUT ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE COMMENTED ON. THESE ARE (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) THINGS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE BOWL, BUT I WANT TO BE SURE I GIVE A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. SO ... The glue line at the top of the middle, below the redheart, separated some and I put in extra glue before applying the finishing agents but you can still see it slightly. There is a stress-induced crack that is mostly visible from the bottom that runs along the lower left (lower right as seen from the bottom) but that does show up a bit on the top, as a lightly noticeable line along the bottom of the wenge and the over to the left of that under the cherry and redheart.
