flaws/issues: the ebony in view 5 has an internal crack that was not visible when I started turning. I might have used the piece anyway, since ebony's very expensive and hard to get, but it IS a flaw in the wood. See image 4b below
comments: The striped padauk in view 6 is particularly nice for the species. The mulberry base is very nice --- this is the first bowl on which I've used mulberry for the base, and I like it so will certainly do more.
