views 2 and 8: bloodwood, mystery wood #145, BOX. Also note that in view 8 there is a very small oval of Honduras rosewood outside the bloodwood

view 4: chechem, yellowheart, BOX

view 5: wenge, padauk, BOX

view 6: white oak, cumaru, yellowheart, BOX

BOX: the bottom wedge is mystery wood #145, the next two wedges are buginga, the next two are panga panga, and the top wedge is bloodwood

flaws/issues: The bloodwood wedge at the top of the box has a tiny chip-out right at the center of the bowl; you have to catch the light just right for it to be particularly noticeable.

The yellowheart in view 6 has some noticeable chip-out where it meets the wenge of view 5 (you can see this in the pic of view 1c at the bottom of the page)

comments: The chechem in view 4 has a marvelous grain, with lighter color running through it and the chechem in the base is also very nice. The mystery wood #145 in view 1 is spectacular.
