BOX: bottom up; English brown oak, redheart, birch, osage orange, Honduras rosewood, redheart

flaws/issues: The underside of the obechee in view 5 had a chisel gouge that had to be sanded down, so there is a shallow indentation at that area about the size of a dime. It's visible only if you catch the light just right, but it is obvious to the touch.

There is a very small black wormhole in the cherry in view 4.

comments: unlike most "C4" type bowls, this one has a relatively large flat area in the middle rather than a more curved interior. I don't find that I like it any better or worse than the more curved sytle, but I point it out because it is different.

The verawood in view 1 is a standout --- this is a very rare wood and this particular piece shows off very nicely both the green color and the interlocked grain that are usually found in this wood. The grain pattern on the cherry in view 4 is very pleasing
