view 1: sycamore, bocote, cowtree(?), bocote veneer, holly veneer, 2 thicknesses of purpleheart veneer, maple veneer, ?(reddish wood with light colored grain stripes), cocobolo, BOX

view 2: canary over buckthorn, osage orange, makore, walnut, BOX

view 3: left to right; sycamore, redheart, purpleheart, pine all backed by aromatic red cedar (sapwood over heartwood), cowtree, canary, machiche, pine, ebony, bloodwood, maple veneer, ? (reddish brown wood), BOX

BOX: bottom is two wedges of anigre(?) sided by oak sided by prima vera then above that is two wedges of cocobolo (very nice) sided by ? (yellowish with ray flakes) above padauk(?). To the left is a tiny triange of wenge and above that is aromatic red cedar then padauk. On the left is basswood. above the cocobolo is fir and to the right of that is a small triangle of wenge and to the right of that is sipo.

flaws/issues: the purpleheart in view 7 has a small chipout next to view 6.

The African blackwood in view 6 has a crack at the outer edge and this has caused a small split in the sapwood that had to be smoothed out by taking out a little slice. It's on the bottom and hardly noticible.

comments: The cocobol in the BOX is really nifty and I like the pattern I've put it in.
