view 3: aromatic red cedar, cocobolo over ash thin over cocobolo (then the ash thin shows up as a crescent), redheart, BOX

view 4: aromatic red cedar, padak veneer, holly veneer, padauk veneer, aromatic red cedar, the 4 pieces which are, from left to right, yellowheart, ipe, purpleheart, paela and all of the aforegoing is sided by American black ash and all of that is over bloodwood.

comments: This is the first "C2" style bowl on which I have slanted the side inward towards the base instead of having it be vertical. I really like the result so I'm sure I'll do more of these.
