view 5: aromatic red cedar over billy webb wood then mahogany, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, mahogany, BOX

view 6: sipo backed by maple veneer then chechem, all over a mahogany thin over bocote, then padauk, BOX

view 7: billy webb wood, canary, BOX

BOX: from the bottom: sipo, ash thin, walnut, aromatic red cedar, thick walnut veneer, then a triangular wedge of prima vera. Slanting on the right are bloodwood, prima vera, cocobolo. Slanting on the left are wenge, bloodwood, cocobolo. On top are wenge then redheart.

flaws/issues: In view 1, there is a hairline separation between the poplar and the aromatic red cedar; it does not stand out visually but is readily noticeable to the fingernail. There is a hairline crack running horizontally in the middle of the box that is even less noticeable, but because of the two cracks, I've kept the price quite low.

comments: Lots of excellent woods in this one, with the canary in view 1 a real standout, having multiple internal omega curves due to the striped colour variations.
