base: bottom 4 wedges are cypress and above that are:
view 2: mahogany, tulip poplar
view 4: sapele, pine, cowtree
view 6: wenge, tulip poplar
view 8: pine
center: center 4 wedges are Honduras mahogany and the 8 little wedges around that are okoume
view 1: oxhorn, cowtree, ebony veneer, jagged lamination of paela over redheart over machiche all backed by canary, and under all that is padauk veneer, aromatic red cedar, thick mahogany veneer, pine, oak. Behind it all is red oak.
view 2: American black ash
view 3: billy webb wood, padauk veneer, makore, aromatic red cedar
view 4: bubinga, holly veneer, machiche(?), cocobolo, padauk
view 5: along the top from the left is mahogany, padauk, mahogany, padauk, cowtree, paela, ?(not very attractive grayish wood). Below the left portion is prima vera and under that is mahogany, ?(very dark reddish wood), mahogany, and under it all is sapele. Behind the left portion is pine and then behind it all is eucalyptus
view 6: buginga, holly veneer, machiche(?), bocote, and an almost invisible wedge of padauk
view 7: afrormosia, zircote, osage orange, chechem and behind it all is cowtree then aromatic red cedar
view 8: American black ash

comments: The zircote in view 5 is an absolutely text-book classic example of the "cloud" figure that this wood is so well known for and the sapwood along the top of the piece really makes the effect even bolder.
