view 2: cocobolo (with sapwood on top), over redheart and backed by aromatice red cedar w/ gum inclusion, padauk veneer, thick oak veneer, thick mahogany veneer, thick oak veneer, cocobolo
view 3: sassafras on the left, mahogany in the middle, red aromatic cedar on the right, all over oak and all backed by aromatic red cedar, canary, mahogany, BOX
view 4: eucalyptus backed by cypress on the left and sapele in the middle and to the right. The sapele is backed by redheart, hard maple veneer, mahogany, cowtree, sassafras (in the box)
view 5: aromatice red cedar
view 6: mahogany, hard maple veneer, prima vera, thick mahogany veneer, BOX
view 7: mahogany, BOX
BOX: vertical pieces left to right are walnut, curly mahogany, wormy tzalam w/ nice black streaking, ? (probably prima vera), mahogany, walnut, ? (probably pine, could be fir or cypress). The upper left slant is yellowheart, the upper right slant is sassafrass set off by padauk veneer
flaws/issues: the tzalam in the box has worm holes, but I knew that and kept it because of the black streaking, which I like. The aromatic red cedar in view 2 has a gum inclusion. The oak on the bottom of view 3 has a crack that isn't particularly visible, but is obvious to the touch.
comments: The oak in view 1 has nice ray flakes and the redheart in view 1 is excellent as is the paela in view 4
