flaws/issues: both pieces of bocote in the box have crack (these are mirrors of the same piece) and the unknown brown wood in view 1 has a crack. These are minor. The bottom of the zebrawood in view 2 has some sanding scratches that should have been removed --- I didn't notice them until I applied the natural stain. The view 3 zebrawood next to the box has, on its bottom, some remains of a sheet of birch veneer at one corner --- this should have been turned off when the bowl was on the lathe but the fact that it wasn't isn't a big deal, I just try to point out EVERYTHING that anyone might consider a flaw. The long narrow triangle of aromatic red cedar in view 5 has a stress-induced crack on the bottom.
Because of the multitude of small issues, I've kept the price low on this one.
comments: A particularly interesting grain pattern in the zebrawood of views 3 and 7, as they both exhibit flat-cut grain whereas zebrawood is normally shown in the quartersawn face because that's what shows the "zebra" stripes.
