BOX: from the bottom up; pine, osage orange, cocobolo, yellowheart, padauk, wenge. To the right of the osage orange are slants of padauk. From the wenge going outward are thick walnut veneer, maple veneer, thick walnut veneer, maple veneer, thick walnut veneer, maple veneer, thick walnut veneer, maple veneer, snakewood

flaws/issues: In the BOX, the right-hand piece of snakewood has a hairline crack, as does the snakewood in view 6. Thin cracks like this are common in snakewood, and I used the pieces knowingly.

The padauk in view 1 has a poor glue joint which manifests itself as a thin separation on both the bottom and the top. Not particularly noticible visually (especially on top) but you can feel it with your fingernail and if it were not for this, the price on this bowl would be higher.

comments: very tricky BOX on this one --- another one of those where I have to stop and think how the heck did I DO that?
